LOL... for whatever reason the centering tags don't work in this forum, so whatever the pic is... it will be on the left side.

just put the url of your image inside img tags. img has to be inside these brackets []. i will use () in my example... otherwise it would be coded and the picture would appear:

(img)URL goes here(/img)

simple. but remember... this bracket [] instead of ().

like for my sig i use this:

(img)http://jim488.250free.com/Jpgs/jimsgym.jpg(/img)

yu were talkin' 'bout the webtv vidcap deal. yer not jus' putin' the pic on the board. are yu storin' them sumplace?? this is the bracket dealy from the top of the page. [img]

i jus' can't take sttuff off my hard drive right? pics gotta have a url right??

after 4 years i finally got a raise. i'm thinkin' road runner, it's tough when it takes hours to send pics to'shutterfly'! ! don't kno what i'd do without bein' able to steal all recipes from them ol' ladies on the web an' tv!!!

i use the upload thingy at imagemagick (just click on the camera and what i'm watching on tv pops up... if i have the a/v wires connected correctly, lol). THEN, i upload that pic to my 250free.com account. it's free. so most of my pics are like

http://jim488.250free.com/Jpgs/jimsgym.jpg

the "Jpgs" is just one of MANY folders i have to store my pics.

i only do that so i'm not "stealing" someone else's bandwidth when i post pics to a message board like this one.

but actually, if you take any pic URL and place it between img tags like this (i added the * so it doesn't code it automatically):

[img*]]http://jim488.250free.com/Jpgs/jimsgym.jpg[/img*]

AND if you want to link anything to a picture, you just use this:

[url=address here*][img#]http://jim488.250free.com/Jpgs/jimsgym.jpg[/img*][/url*]

or just say go [url=address here*]here[/url*] to link to a page with the word "here"... cool tricks. Smile

just remember... take out all the "*" LOL

as far as the pics at the top of the group, though... i have to upload that on the admin page, just like i would at imagemagick. Smile

just as an example... using the url tags, my sig (the group logo) is now clickable, and will take you back to the group homepage. try it! Smile
